About Denver | Denver Electrician | About Us
Because we’re located in Denver, we’re a bit partial to the community. Denver is a wonderful place to live, you can be in the mountains, desert, or urban areas – all in one day. Here are a few quick facts about the area: Denver is the largest city in the state of Colorado. It is seated at the western edge of the high plains, in the shadows of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Denver was founded in 1858, during the Pike’s Peak Gold Rush. It began as a small mining town and eventually was abandoned in favor of another nearby settlement. But, a land speculator named General William Larimer staked his claim, and called it Denver in honor of James W. Denver (who was the territorial governor of Kansas). Since Denver was founded as a small mining town, it has come a long way. Now, it is a vibrant community with a burgeoning economy. It is home to over 600,000 people who enjoy the myriad of activities the area has to offer. It is home to the Mile-High Stadium (home of the Broncos), Red Rocks Amphitheater, countless breweries (including Coors, New Belgium, and Stranahan’s Whiskey), and is a growing economy in the United States.
